Collage 2014 - An Overview

IISER Mohali

We've seen enough to know that there are a good number of writing enthusiasts lurking among the students of IISER Mohali, not including those of you who don’t know that you belong to them (at least, yet). If your purpose is either to showcase your obvious talent, experience the pleasure of putting to words the philosophical ramblings that occurred to you one morning or just to have fun: COLLAGE 2014 is for you.

COLLAGE 2014 is more or less like an ordinary writing competition. Except that, it’s not. One thing that makes it strikingly different is that the competition has a theme – “Treasure”.  This means that every article presented should either be directly or indirectly relevant to it in any way as long as you, the writer, are completely convinced of the relevance.

The categories that you can participate in are:
 1. Essay-Writing
2. Story-Writing
3. Poetry
 4. Script/Screenplay Writing

The meanings of which are hopefully self-evident. For further information, there are the rules which have been e-mailed to you and are also mentioned below.

The prizes for Collage 2014 in each of the categories will be for:
1. The Most Inspiring/Thoughtful article

2, The Most Entertaining article
And each prize will be worth Rs. 800.
